Meet Mark

 Mark Holifield is a songwriter from Jackson, Tennessee, known for pairing outlaw country edge with deeply spiritual storytelling rooted in grace, redemption, and real-world grit. A lifelong believer with two years of theological training from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Mark writes from a place of lived experience—pain, growth, forgiveness, and faith that outlasts circumstance.

In less than a year, Mark wrote more than 130 songs, quickly attracting the attention of hit songwriter and producer Jay Brunswick (Darkhouse Nashville). Jay now oversees the development of Mark’s entire catalog as it transitions into fully produced demos performed by professional Nashville vocalists and musicians. At Jay’s direction, Mark has temporarily removed all previously released music from streaming platforms to prepare for a new phase of real-artist demos and pitching to major-label talent. These new versions are expected to begin releasing in 2026 as industry-ready showcases for artist cuts.

Mark’s writing spans outlaw country, Southern rock, Americana, modern worship, and even comedic storytelling. Yet at the center of every song is one message—grace is greater than law, mercy is stronger than judgment, and broken people are exactly the kind Christ calls home.

Beyond music, Mark is a dentist, entrepreneur, and mentor whose faith informs everything he builds. Any success in songwriting, he believes, exists to serve others and point toward grace.
